Jake Swanson and Team Arizona were crowned the overall USAC National Sprint Car champion of the DIRTcar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park. Swanson collected the most total points over the two-day event with a 1st and 5th place feature finish in their #21AZ DRC Chassis. He also set a new 8-lap Volusia Speedway Park USAC Sprint Car track record in his heat race with a time of 2:17.38.
C.J. Leary scored three podium finishes with the USAC National Sprint Car champion in the BGE Dougherty #15x DRC Chassis at Bubba Raceway Park and Volusia Speedway Park.
Brody Roa captured the first two features of the season with the AMSOIL USAC CRA Sprint Car Series at Somerton, Arizona’s Cocopah Speedway driving the Tom and Christy Dunkel/BR Performance #17R Inland Rigging / Dunkel Farms DRC Chassis.
Sterling Cling won the opener with the American Sprint Car Series Arizona Non-Wing Sprints at Central Arizona Raceway driving the #34 DRC Chassis.
